Push type expanders
Push type expanders are designed to seal counterbored holes effectively. Using a setting tool, the ball is pressed into the serrated sleeve, creating a comprehensive metal-to-metal seal. With a maximum pressure rating of 450 Bar and sizes ranging from 3 to 22 mm, these expanders offer reliable sealing solutions for various applications.
Pull type expanders
Pull type expanders, such as Series SKC and Series LK, are specifically engineered to seal holes in challenging scenarios, such as those located at angles or on different faces where the block cannot be moved. These expanders use a mandrel to insert the plug into the hole, offering a reliable sealing solution in difficult-to-access channels.
Ideal for high-volume applications requiring rapid installation, pull type expansion plugs ensure efficient sealing as the setting tool pulls the expander back into the hole, causing the plug to expand and tightly seal the drilled hole. With a maximum pressure rating of 500 Bar and sizes ranging from 4 to 20 mm, these expanders provide dependable sealing solutions for a variety of applications.
