Cost effective SEALING OF DRILLED HOLES
Koenig expanders utilize cutting-edge expander technology to achieve secure sealing of drilled holes without the need for any waste, adhesives, or solvents. Compared to traditional ball and screwed hole sealing methods, Koenig expanders require half as many pre-installation operations, streamlining the sealing process and saving valuable time.
With dedicated tooling and standardized solutions, there is no need for large production ancillary equipment and significant investment. This ensures a cost-effective and efficient solution for hole sealing, allowing for seamless integration into various production processes.
PUSH type EXPANDERS
Push type expanders, including Series MB and Series CV, are specifically designed to seal counterbored holes effectively. With the use of a setting tool, the ball is pressed into the serrated sleeve, creating a comprehensive metal-to-metal seal. Max. pressure of 450 Bar and sizes from 3 – 22 mm.
PULL type EXPANDERS
Series SK and Series LK expanders are specifically engineered to seal holes in challenging scenarios where access is limited, such as at angles or on different faces where the block cannot be moved. Unlike push type expanders, pull type expanders use a mandrel to insert the plug into the hole and do not require counterbores or secondary machining.
During installation, a setting tool is employed to pull the expander back into the hole, causing the plug to expand and tightly seal the drilled hole. These expanders are capable of withstanding maximum pressures of up to 500 Bar and are available in sizes ranging from 4 to 20 mm.
Utilizing handheld riveter-style tools, expanders can be set quickly, linking directly to progressive production or assembly lines, enhancing efficiency and productivity in manufacturing operations.
Reliable Fluid and Gas Control in High Pressure Environments
Koenig check valves and flow restrictors are engineered to deliver dependable and precise control of fluid and gas in high-pressure environments. Utilizing the same metal-to-metal sealing technology as Koenig Expanders, they effectively prevent side leakage and remain secure in high vibration environments.
RESTRICTORS
Koenig restrictors are designed to manage the flow of gas and fluid in deep-hole installations with precision and reliability. Constructed from 300 series stainless steel and with a one-piece mechanical design based on the expansion principle, they ensure secure operation and prevent side leakage.
CHECK VALVES
Koenig ball check valves offer precise flow control with zero leakage, ensuring reliable regulation of fluid flow even under extreme pressure conditions.
